Ben Sales is a London-based editor and assistant editor,

with over 6 years of post-production experience.

His work as editor on The Waiter, the Scientist and Jenny was awarded the Grierson Award for Best Student Documentary, marking him out as an emerging talent in documentary storytelling. Alongside this, he has contributed to a range of high-profile productions, including assisting on A24’s How To Make a Killing, working as an assistant editor on Channel 5 and Paramount’s Play for Today, and co-editing the feature documentary Pizza Under Fire.

Ben’s experience spans documentary, fiction, and animation, including work on the Sky Kids series 10 Little… Who? for Karrot Animation. His fiction short films have also premiered at the London Film Festival. He currently works as an Assistant Editor at Atlantic Studios, supporting a range of productions, including immersive and cutting-edge technology-driven projects.

Ben graduated from the National Film and Television School in 2024, and before that he was a PhD candidate in Philosophy.
